“A Crowd of Men”

Poem by Franklin Rayeski – Please do not use without crediting me

They discriminate their races proud
As they point towards a crowd of men.
I nod and smile and respond aloud:
“You see them, yes, but look again:
Look closer now to unsee their race!”
They tilt their head and I reiterate then:
“It doesn’t matter the color of their face,
For me, I just see a crowd of men.”
